Posted November 7, 2014. Hi, The engine in my 2010 Focus 1.6 TDCI has over the past few weeks become very loud. The standard tappety type diesel noise is much more pronounced. The only thing that's changed is I did the oil and filter. Both for genuine ford The oil Formula F 5w30. I'm not 100% sue it it was straight after the oil change it Engine's oil level is normal and there's no leaks around the engine.
